Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up at hotel lobby at 8.30am for the 3-hour drive to Cameron Highlands situated 1542 meters above sea level. Famed for its tea plantations and cool temperatures, it is a producer of vegetables and fruits. On the way, we will stop at a basket weaving cottage industry, Lata Iskandar waterfall and an aboriginal settlement. Enjoy the cool, crisp air of Cameron Highlands and its wonderful scenery. Tour of Cameron Highlands upon arrival including the tea plantation, tea factory (closed on Mondays), market square and butterfly farm. Dinner of fresh highland vegetables and meat dishes in a restaurant. Overnight at hotel, Cameron Highlands.

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning tour departure from Cameron Highlands to Penang, a drive of 3 hours. En route visit the Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple in Ipoh, photo stop of the Ubudiah Mosque, Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenangan in the royal town of  Kuala Kangsar. Cross over to Penang using the fifth longest bridge in the world, arriving at your hotel around 6.30pm. Overnight at hotel, Penang.

Breakfast at the hotel. At 9am, we will proceed for a city, culture and heritage tour. Visit the third longest Reclining Buddha image in the world at a Thai temple, the Botanical Garden laid out by the colonial British, with its lush green surroundings with a wide variety of tropical plants and bird life. Visit the Kek Lok Si Temple built in 1904, the most beautiful and largest Chinese Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia and is known as the “Temple of a 1000 Buddhas”. Visit Fort Cornwallis at the Esplanade where in August 1786 Captain Francis Light first landed to start the first British colony in Penang. Continue to the old part of Georgetown and visit the intricate Khoo Kongsi clan house. Return to the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.
