Breakfast at hotel , transfer to airport for your morning flight to Vientiane . Arrive in Vientiane , visit the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph. Arrive in Phonsavanh, the capital city of Xieng Khouang, transfer to your hotel. Visit plains of jars No.1 close to the city. the largest site, proceed to site No.2 a few minutes from there with nice landscape. The site No.2 has the biggest jar (2.7 m long). Full day visit of the old city: start with Vat Vixoune influenced by Tai- Lu architecture and That Makmo, the watermelon shape stupa and Vat Aham just next, continue to Vat Sipphoutthabat with its fine carved doors and its view over the Nam Khan River. Walk through the small lanes up to Vat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temples of Luang Prabang dating back from 16th century. The roofs of the main chapel sweep low to the ground. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon continues your visit with the national museum (former king’s palace) and Vat Mai with its five tiered roof and exquisite carved veranda.
